In 1992 nine local agribusinesses; including several dairy farms, a crop farmer, and a grain mill came together to establish Linwood Commodities.  During this time Dick Doerflinger managed the business and marketed straw, hay, various feed commodities, and dairy supplies.

 

In the fall of 2021 Dick decided retirement was inevitable. Without a replacement for Dick the ownership decided to sell all of the shares of the company to one of the original owners, Craig Phelps.  Craig hired Krista Beechler to be Dick Doerflingers successor.  The company exchanged hands and Krista officially came on board on January 1, 2022.
